Roommates. Split plans put a bedroom and a bath at each end of the loft, so nobody shares a bathroom and nobody hears the other’s alarm. It is the easiest way to split a large loft without splitting the difference on privacy.
Working from home. A second bedroom under a 17-foot ceiling, with a mill window the size of a wall, makes a better office than most offices. Want to meet in person instead? The Spinning and Weaving community rooms have WiFi and bookable space, and there is coffee in the Marketplace downstairs.

Because the 1902 mill's column grid set the walls, sizes vary from floor to floor — the live availability list on our floor plans page shows the exact square footage of each open loft.
Do you have three bedroom apartments in Spartanburg?
Yes. Three bedroom lofts such as Plan B42 (3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 1,673 sq ft) are among the largest apartments in the building. Several three bedroom plans in the Spinning building climb a steel staircase to a true loft level. There are not many of them, so check availability early.
Are the two bedroom lofts good for roommates?
Often, yes. Split-bedroom plans like B14 give each bedroom its own bathroom, which is why roommates and couples who both work from home choose it. If you would rather have more shared living space than a second bath, B17 and B28 are worth touring.
